For those items, you can easily order quality replacements from authorized suppliers such as Mouser or Digi-Key. In practice:

• Trimming resistors rarely need replacement ? original parts can be cleaned with DeoxIT or similar if needed, while modern sealed types are simply an upgrade.

• Relays are usually serviceable as-is, though the internal contacts may occasionally need burnishing if oxidation causes poor dir=\"ltr\" Ultimate Kit for Technics Receivers includes everything you need to electronically restore and upgrade your Technics. NOTE: This unit does have a relay but a modern replacement is not available via authorized distributors (it\'s obsolete) so the relay is NOT included with this kit. If yours needs attention, it can be opened up and the contacts carefully cleaned. Our kits use only the highest quality parts from authorized distributors. These kits save you valuable time and headache in sourcing the parts yourself. Having serviced and restored many Technics receivers in the past, our kits are accurate and vetted. If you can solder and desolder, consider yourself handy in any other way, and are deliberate and thoughtful, you can do this! Any audio gear over 20 years old can benefit from this procedure. Any unit over 30 years old risks failure of other parts without it. Electrolytic Caps drift and fail with time leading to a less detail, transient response, weak bass and mushy overall sound as well as potential failure leading to costly repair.   All signal path caps 4.7uf or lower are replaced by sonically superior film caps, most by Wima

  • All transistors are made by OnSemi
  • Electrolytic caps are primarily Nichicon. Panasonic, United Chem-Con and other reputable brands are also employed
  Nichicon caps used are primarily from the UPW and UKL line
  • Panasonic caps used are primarily from the FC & FR line
