Fuel Tank
This 18 gallon fuel tank kit from Tanks Inc. features a large 3/8\" NPT pickup tube. It is compatible with your 1953-1954 Chevy car. It includes mounting straps, gaskets, and O-ring sealed screws.

Note: When using the 53-CGX tank with a GPA series pump a 3/8\" NPT pipe plug will be needed to block off the internal fuel tank pickup tube.
Sending Unit
These sending units are also included in our Fuel Level Gauge with Sender fuel level gauge kit. They will work in tanks from 6\" to 24\" deep and can be used as a right hand or left hand swing unit with minor adjustment. This fuel sender comes with a seal and all mounting hardware.

Summary: Fits the 53 like a glove. Pay attention to the extra bolts they send with it. Tank was 19 gallon while original was 16 gallon. I ordered new straps, didn't fit. Modified new straps, didn't fit. Used longer bolts that were sent with the tank and it fits. Can't fix stupid!!
