Despite production ceasing in 1971, popularity never declined, and in 1991 a 1.3-liter engine Mini Cooper was unveiled, quenching the thirst of Mini fans all around the world. Keeping the compact form and pleasing performance, the updated Mini was loaded with modern fittings including electronic fuel injection system.
Tamiya brings Mini fans this re-issue of our classic 1/12 scale model kit release. It includes an updated decal sheet and instruction manual, additional masking stickers and stickers for floor carpet.
FEATURES: Features authentic depictions of elements such as 1.3-liter inline-4 compact engine, radiator, air cleaner and suspension. The openable hinged hood reveals these elements even after assembly.
The interior has realistic renderings of dashboard, front and rear seats, door trims, window regulators, and large door pockets.
Metal plated wheels are paired with realistic semi-pneumatic tires.
Updated decals feature additional roof Union Jack.
Masking stickers for window painting and stickers for floor carpet are added features.
