Front/Back Covers: The cream-colored softcover wraps show significant age-toning and heavy shelf wear. There is localized scuffing and small stains consistent with library usage.
Spine: The spine is heavily \"crinkled\" and tanned, with visible vertical reading creases and minor paper loss at the head and tail.
Binding: The trade paperback binding remains structurally sound, though the volume shows a visible \"shelf lean.\"
Interior: Classic ex-library hallmarks: a large \"WITHDRAWN\" stamp on the top edge of the text block; \"N.S.C.C. Library\" and \"Gift of Norman Côté\" bookplates on the front flyleaf; and a \"Schoenhof\'s Foreign Books\" sticker on an interior page.
Notable Defects: Major interior damage to the rear endpaper, where a library pocket or slip was roughly removed, resulting in large areas of surface paper loss and jagged edges. Significant tanning to the exterior page edges.
