Professional Restoration & Calibration

This Akai GX-635D has been fully restored and professionally calibrated by our HQaudios technical team. Every major function was verified, mechanical assemblies were cleaned and re-lubricated where required, and electronic sections were inspected, measured, serviced, and adjusted for accurate and dependable operation.

1. Mechanical Restoration

• The transport mechanism was extensively disassembled and serviced, including the reel tables, capstan system, pinch roller assembly, and tension arms.
• Old lubricant, residue, and accumulated contamination were removed from applicable mechanical assemblies.
• Moving components were cleaned and re-lubricated using premium synthetic lubricant and damping grease where appropriate.
• New genuine pinch roller and drive belt components were installed.
