This listing is for a head stack from an X-7R. The heads are in very good condition, with very low and even wear and this will perform well when installed and set up per the service manual.
These heads are compatible with X-7R/10R/20R and some X-700R and X-1000R, but please read on before purchasing
Please note that the heads have not been disturbed since original installation, except for adjusting azimuth per the manual and you should expect to only have to tweak azimuth slightly, if at all, when working through the electronics section of the manual.
The fixed tape guides are included to ensure the tape continues to run in the same place on the heads.
This is the most common fixed tape guide layout - other decks have a large central fixed tape guide - we have a head stack with that configuration also listed and please send me a photo of what you have if you want help identifying what you need.
