The paint is absolutely perfect down to the minutest details, including the three insignias on the sleeves of the men. They are extremely sharp. The soldiers and the box look brand new and never touched. There are two types of men in this set, one type are holding swords and the other types are holding axes. The label on the box says \'Fabrique Francaise\' among other information.This was manufactured definitely some time after 1900 as there is that date on the cover of the box.This box will be wrapped in a plastic protective covering and cushioned all around within the outer sturdy shipping box so it does not move around and has adequate protection in transit.Shipping cost includes insurance coverage.
