For sale is a Supermicro AOM-SAS3-16I16E Rev 1.01 SAS3 internal-to-external adapter assembly with four attached internal Mini-SAS HD cables.
These were pulled from a Supermicro 24-bay 4U SAS3 JBOD chassis. Each assembly provides rear external Mini-SAS HD connectivity from internal Mini-SAS HD cabling/backplane connections.
This is ideal for Supermicro JBOD, storage chassis, backplane, or external SAS conversion projects where you need to bring internal SAS3 connections out to rear external Mini-SAS HD ports.
Important: this is a passive cable adapter / pass-through assembly. It is not an HBA, RAID controller, SAS expander, or PCIe controller card. It does not plug into a PCIe slot electrically. Buyer must have a compatible SAS HBA/controller, backplane/expander, chassis layout, and cabling.
