Calling golf lovers or anyone decorating a home near a golf course. These unique plates have a different golf scene on each plate with a raised border featuring golf balls. The figures are whimsical and look Victorian. They look like they belong in a golf pro shop or country club or they should definitely live in the home of someone who loves golf or collects golf memorabilia.
This is for a set of 6 plates.
The surface does have some crackling and discoloration on the white part of the plates as you can see from the photo but does not interfere with the art on the plates and actually in really great shape considering the estimated age. I\'ve read that Steubenville Pottery was founded in 1879 and closed in 1959. I\'ve looked all over and contacted china dealers but can\'t find out anything else about this unique pattern.
