My personal opinion is...the Stella fig is the absolute best in the world!! Also the fig is about as big as a 50 cent piece or larger. Fantastic!

The Stella fig tree (Ficus carica ‘Stella’) is an Italian heirloom variety prized for very large, sweet figs.

Fruit: Green skin with deep purplish-red flesh; rich, jammy, berry-like flavor

Uses: Fresh eating, drying, preserves, and baking
Pollination: Self-fruitful—one tree can produce fruit
Mature size: About 8–10 feet, smaller with pruning
Sun: At least 8 hours of direct sunlight

Harvest: Usually late July to early August, depending on climate
Cold tolerance: Often listed around USDA Zone 7, tolerating roughly 0–5°F once established

Soil: Well-drained soil; avoid waterlogged locations
Water young trees deeply and consistently, mulch around—but not against—the trunk, and prune lightly during winter or early spring. In colder climates, protect the branches with wrapping and mulch the root zone; growing it in a large container makes winter protection easier. Harvest figs only when they soften and hang or droop slightly, since they do not ripen well after picking.
