History below. This is a nice player. Issues are: Several bruises (see pics), 5 way switch is sloppy but works and stays where you put it. Nice action, great sound, pots are smooth, new strings, responsive tuners. Case is missing a latch but the other 2 are fine. Inside the case i good and will protect the guitar well (see pics). Rare quilted maple neck!

The \"S1\" Arrowhead Design: To keep manufacturing simple and separate the line from Squier, Fender used a unique, triangular headstock. The look pays homage to the rare 1960s Fender Swinger and Maverick models.
Transition: This headstock shape was short-lived. Fender later replaced it with a large CBS-style 1970s headstock, and eventually standard Stratocaster headstocks, before retiring the line entirely.

Full-Thickness Body: Unlike cheap Squier Bullets or Affinity models that use thin bodies, these models came with full-thickness solid wood or agathis/basswood bodies. This allows you to install standard Fender upgrade parts like bridge blocks and tremolos without modifications.
This is a player’s grade guitar in good condition. Cosmetics do not reduce it’s beauty or playability. This instrument displays honest play wear from past musicians. The finish exhibits scratches and imperfections as would be expected with normal use. None of these issues affect its performance. I have tried to take great care with photographs to correctly present the instrument’s condition. I invite yourquestions or comments for additional information of clarity.
