Soft, lightweight merino base layer, likely an 88% merino 12% nylon blend for added durability. Reason for selling - the arms have a next to skin fit that I found to be itchy, but the fabric itself is not itchy; Smartwool removes the itchy scales from their wool fibers, I think. CONDITION - great aside from some pilling on the back, from a backpack. This can be removed with a pilling removal tool.
