An impressionistic river/harbor landscape: a house and trees along the near bank, a sailboat with its reflection catching the light on calm water, and a distant village skyline along the far shore. Soft, atmospheric palette of lavender-gray sky, olive greens, and dusty pinks with loose, expressive brushwork.
We have not found a market record for this artist under this signature. This piece is offered on its own merits as an appealing, well-composed nautical/coastal landscape.
Provenance: displayed in a Costa Mesa, CA home for approximately two decades before entering this estate collection.
CONDITION: Front is clean and stable with no visible tears or losses. The verso shows scattered brownish staining/discoloration across a portion of the canvas back (see photos) — cosmetic to the reverse only; does not appear to have migrated to the painted surface. Unframed. Sold as-is.
