This special-edition Schmincke HORADAM watercolor set recreates a historic technical color palette from the 1930s.
The nine colors are inspired by the former DIN 201 technical drawing standard used by architects, engineers, technical draftsmen and land registry offices. Individual shades traditionally represented building materials such as brass, cast steel, aluminum, wood and concrete.
The professional HORADAM watercolors are presented in a long white metal box featuring Schmincke’s historic owl artwork. The fold-out white enamel surfaces provide convenient areas for mixing colors.
