We designed and created these Saab 9-3 ECU heatshield kits from scratch. These are designed to extend the life of your T8 Saab ECU. Unfortunately, due to the bad placement of the ECU on the 2003-2011 Saab 9-3 2.0 models, these ECUs are prematurely going bad. The replacements are harder and harder to come by as they are no longer manufactured. To counter this issue we created these ECU Heatshield Kits to extend the life of your ECU. We used High grade Aluminum sheet metal to allow for excellent heat dissipation. CNC routed screw holes for accurate alignment with your Saabs ECU mounting holes. Finally we anodized these for extra corrosion resistance. These plates sit directly on the engine raising the ECU about an inch above the engine creating a gap for airflow. These kits also use anti-vibration rubber mounts to help reduce the extreme vibrations the ECUs are currently exposed to. Why choose our kit
We use auto/marine grade oil and heat resistant 16 gauge wire with auto/marine grade heat shrink wrapped eyelet wire connectors to create the durable ground wire contained in this kit. All of the bolts and nuts within the kit are automotive grade stainless steel and the heatshield itself is composed of automotive grade anodized aluminum to provide excellent heat dissipationas well as corrosion resistance.
