Presented for sale is this Superb Vintage Beswick Red Rum Steeplechaser Race Horse with Brian Fletcher Up Model No.2511.Produced by Beswick from 1975-1982 it was designed by Graham Tongue and is model number 2511 being part of the Connoisseur Horses series of models. It is entitled Red Rum Brian Fletcher Up who was a famous steeplechaser race horse, winning the Aintree Grand National in 1973, 1974 & 1977 and has his famous jockey Brian Fletcher up on him. It is wonderfully modelled and finished in a matt brown, yellow, red, white and black glaze mounted on a wooden plinth, superb quality item/craftsmanship.Measuring 12 1/4\" high x 12 1/2\" long approx. it is in excellent used condition with no chips, cracks or restoration and is marked to the underbelly of the horse with the....... Measuring 12 1/4\" high x 12 1/2\" long approx. it is in excellent used condition with no chips, cracks or restoration and is marked to the underbelly of the horse with the Beswick B mark and also a label on the wooden plinth, please see all the additional photos as they form part of the description.
