0Up for sale is an authentic, highly collectible 1968 US first stereo pressing of the legendary blues-rock masterpiece Super Sessionby Mike Bloomfield, Al Kooper, and Steve Stills (Columbia Records, CS 9701). This factory-original package features the coveted red "2-Eye" Columbia labels with the white "360 Sound" text flanking the arrows. A true audiophile dream, the dead wax matrix runouts feature the early, matched Terre Haute pressing identifiers: Side A reads XSM137379-1B I O T and Side B reads XSM137380-1D I O T D15. Included is the original 1968 black-and-white Columbia advertising inner sleeve, making this a complete, historically accurate piece of music history.
The condition of the vinyl disc itself is a conservative Near Mint (NM-), showing incredible original gloss with only a couple of faint, purely cosmetic surface scuffs. It has been fully play-tested and delivers a flawless, dead-quiet playback experience free of any pops, ticks, or skips. The sturdy original cardboard jacket is in Very Good Plus (VG+) condition on the front and back with almost zero ring wear and remarkably vibrant colors. The bottom seam shows some typical shelf friction wear, and there is a small vintage sticker with handwritten notes on the top left corner, keeping the jacket at a solid Very Good (VG) overall grade. The original inner paper sleeve is fully intact with only minor seam splits typical of its age.
