Color & Visual Description

• Color Palette: The primary ink configuration is deep olive green and charcoal black, enhanced by fine multi-color security tints of orange, pink, and yellow radiating through the center fields.
• Obverse (Front): Features a military portrait of King George VI facing forward within an oval frame on the right side. The upper center displays the official Coat of Arms of Southern Rhodesia, flanked by legal tender clauses. On the left is a large circular watermark window. The serial number 098,083 is cleanly stamped in dark red under prefix B/57.
• Reverse (Back): Showcases a beautiful central landscape engraving of the conical tower at the Great Zimbabwe Ruins. The left side contains an inset medallion of a Sable Antelope facing right. The entire layout is framed by an elegant leafy border engraved by the world-renowned printer Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. Ltd..
