The \"FG-180 & FG150\" were released in October 1966 as the first domestically produced folk guitars.
Models from 1968 onwards, commonly known as the \"red label\" models, are widely known and loved by many fans.
The FG-180 is a dreadnought-like Western size, while the slightly smaller FG150 is a folk size, and the FS size remains popular today.
The instrument is a superb example of \"The FS,\" a model that features the culmination of the red label FG series and represents the pinnacle of modern Japanese Yamaha technology.
With a spruce top, mahogany sides and back, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, open-back tuners, black pickguard, rosewood binding, and original aluminum truss rod cover, this guitar features specifications that will appeal to enthusiasts.
Inheriting the basic design of the original red-label FG-150, this all-solid wood guitar delivers an exceptional tone.
Fitted with an LR.Baggs SESSION VTC pickup, it\'s ready for live performances and other events.
The item has some dents and scratches on the body top and sides, but no large, noticeable scratches that expose the wood.
The item has a crack in the lid of the hardshell case, but it is still perfectly usable.
