Vintage Rosenthal "Pompadour" shape plate, made in Germany. The plate has a raised, scroll-molded rim finished in gold gilt, framing a rich teal ground with a hand-painted floral bouquet — coral chrysanthemums, white peony-like blooms, and trailing gold-tipped foliage, with fine gold speckling scattered across the background.
The reverse is marked with the Rosenthal Germany Pompadour backstamp, along with "Handgemalt" (German for hand-painted), a pattern/mold number, and the decorator's initials — confirming this was individually hand-decorated rather than transfer-printed.
New without tags, never used.
