Retro Champion Shoe Machine Co Antique Leather Cutter Tool St Louis Vintage
A nice, large, iron and steel leather cutter made in St, Louis, Mo. It has quite a cool profile and history and is from early 1900s Champion Shoe Co. made in St. Louis. Please see that sadly the original handle has broken off but fits the break so can either be repaired with a weld or unscrewed and replaced. The price has been made reflective of this.
The machine has always been kept indoors while it's been in my leather tool collection for many years. It has a twist-screw slide measuring component for fitting the leather width in as you cut with the turning wheels. A rare and beautiful machine for the right workshop. I'm downsizing many of my beloved leather tools so please see my other listings if that's of interest to you.
