Long rectangular lines, a deep black dial, warm gold detailing and just two genuine diamonds — nothing excessive, nothing that needs to shout.The dial is exceptional. A fine vertical texture runs through the black surface, framed by a beautifully geometric railroad minute track. At 12 and 6 sit two genuine diamond markers, catching the light against the dark dial, while slender gold-tone hands keep everything wonderfully clean.It has that old-money Swiss elegance that works just as well with a suit today as it would have decades ago.And underneath that elegant exterior is something equally interesting.The watch is powered by the Wittnauer C7KA/1, a Swiss 17-jewel automatic calibre based on the ETA 2651. The movement is beautifully signed Wittnauer Watch Co., while the inside of the caseback carries the original Wittnauer Watch Co. Swiss factory markings and case stamps.At approximately 26.5mm wide × 38mm lug-to-lug, the proportions are superb.
