Rare Printer’s Proof – PP 4/20
Beautiful large-format limited-edition artwork from the Salvador Dalí / Walt Disney Destino series, titled “Seventy-Four.”
This example is pencil-numbered PP 4/20, identifying it as Printer’s Proof number 4 from a proof edition of only 20.
The piece is pencil-titled “Seventy-Four” in the lower center and bears the embossed Destino / Walt Disney / Salvador Dalí blind stamp at lower right, together with an additional embossed printer/publisher blind stamp at lower left. Please see the detailed photographs of these markings.
The artwork is beautifully presented with wide cream-colored matting accented with black and gold lines and an elaborate antiqued gold/bronze architectural-style frame under glass. It is a substantial and impressive piece when Art size: approximately 25” × 31”
• Overall framed size: approximately 39” × overall condition. The artwork itself is in excellent condition with vivid, bright colors and no observed damage. The matting and ornate frame are also in excellent condition.
The glass has only a few small/light surface scuffs from normal handling and display. These do not detract from the presentation of the artwork. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are part of the condition description.
The PP 4/20 designation, embossed markings, large size, and beautiful professional framing make this a particularly attractive example of Destino “Seventy-Four” for a collector or shipping is $100.
