Rare Period chromolithograph of the very famous Painting by Russian master Ivan Aivazovsky. Title is the Rainbow. Signed by Aivazovsky lower right. This is a period 19th century chromolithograph after the original oil. Full dimensions are 19 x 27 5/8 inches.
Condition is fair to good, with losses in upper right corner, upper center margin. A good framer should be able to create a mat board to hide the upper right losses by creating rounded edges on to right and top left. Or a good conservator can attach a piece of paper board and blend in the colors where losses are located.
Very hard to find in any condition from the period.
