German Model 1898 a/A quillback Bayonet Sword measuring 26\" OAL, 20.75\" blade. This has the rare one piece wood grip and is in excellent condition. The guard also has regimental markings on it, \"107.R.2.46.\" Excellent condition blade overall showing some light wear. The Ricasso area of the blade is stamped, \"SIMSON & CO. SUHL\". The top of the blade spine is stamped with a Crown over \"AR\" over \"02\" (1902 year), over a cypher. The pommel end, left side is stamped, with two cyphers. A cypher is also stamped on the top of the guard area. No Scabbard. A difficult, hard to find model
