This Rare Depression Era Peacock GEM Blue Glass Rolling Pin with Wooden Handles is a unique and antique decorative rolling pin featuring a tulip pattern. Handmade with a peacock teal color, this rolling pin stands at 20\" in length with a width of 2 1/2\". Embossed \'GEM Pat Pend\'. The wood handles are attached with a metal rod inside of the beautiful glass body. This rolling pin does not come available very often and would make a wonderful addition to your home or collection. It was a display piece in my house.Glass has some scratches from usage, I\'m assuming. One wooden handle on the nut end is in GUC, the loop end wooden handle has some noticeable chipping/wear at the base of the handle beside the tuliped end. At both tuliped ends there is some chipping, the nut end has a small chip around the tulip lip, the loop end has quite noticeable chipping around the tulip lip as well.
