Rare Circa 1900\'s Webless Baseball Glove, Draper & Maynard, Antique, Workman\'s For Sale

Rare 1900-1905 Draper & Maynard webless baseball glove.

This glove remains soft and flexible despite having areas of surface cracking or crazing, 75% of which is on the back side. The glove comfortably fits my medium size hand. The inside lining has a hardened stain and a 2 inch tear on the heel but the remainder of the inside lining is soft and is very comfortable on my hand. The glove measures approximately 9 x 9 inches. The coated cloth piping is worn but is 95% intact. On the wrist strap the leather between the 2 button holes is still intact but not by much. Has probably the earliest Draper & Maynard cloth label there is. Draper & Maynard adopted the \"Pointer Dog\" logo sometime between 1900 and 1905. That would be the approximate date of this glove. No writing.
