This stunning jacket was custom made for my grandmother in the early 30\'s. Irma Kirby, while being the designer for Eisenberg Originals, her signed pieces are either Autographed originals or custom made pieces. The jacket is in much better condition than the label. It only has one small flaw in the back near the bottom (see pictures). The piece is made of 100% silk velvet, so it drapes and feels like heaven!
The truly unique attributes to this jacket are the ballooned sleeves made extra long, so they billow and drape around your hand. You may want to replace the elastic at the wrists to fit you.
The back is 23\" from underarm to underarm, but it fits a smaller frame better. The front is not meant to close and the corners land beautifully just above the hip, while the back drapes gracefully 6\" lower at the center of the curve.
