We are pleased to offer this rare 19th-century silk Kesi textile for sale, depicting two men playing checkers. This textile is in excellent condition; in over 45 years in the antique and art business, we have come across only a handful of pieces of this quality. It comes from an estate in St. Louis and has been part of a family collection since 1908. I have seen textiles of this age and quality sell for several thousand dollars at sale.
