The Bodice & Tulle Integrity: The vintage velvet bodice is gorgeous, and the vast majority of the 4-layer tulle skirt is remarkably perfect, pliable, and structurally strong due to decades of professional preservation.
Minor Imperfections: There is one small, isolated amber-colored spot near a seam on the inside bodice near the top. The spot cannot be seen from the back view of the dress. Additionally, there are a few minor tears along the absolute bottom edge/hem of the tulle layers, consistent with being walked in on the original wedding day. These are easily hidden by the skirt\'s immense volume or can be easily trimmed/hemmed by a bridal tailor to match the buyer\'s height.Cleaning: To preserve the flawless pile of the vintage velvet and the integrity of the silk lining, we have chosen not to subject this piece to standard commercial dry cleaning.
