Up for sale is an incredibly scarce holy grail piece of American angling history. An original Immell Chippewa lure. Features the iconic hollowed out central chamber housing its original metal spiral propeller blade. The blade rotates freely along the central axis wire. Designed by inventor Omer H. Immell to flash and vibrate as water funnels through the body. The original painted finish shows beautiful honest age-crazing and wear from a lifetime of storage. Stamped on the metal spinner is Patd. Nov 1 1910 The piece retains its primitive glass tack eyes.
