RHUDE began in 2015 as a handful of scarves and tees stitched together in a Los Angeles garage, and grew into one of the most quietly influential American labels of its generation. Rhuigi Villaseñor built the house on a very particular instinct: take the symbols of old money — country club crests, casino floors, cigarette packaging, playing cards — and render them in the language of the street. The Playing Card Tee sits squarely in that tradition, pulling the suits and pips of a card deck into a graphic that feels equal parts poker room and gallery print.
This piece is cut from a substantial cotton jersey with a dry, structured hand that holds its shape through repeat wear. The off-white ground is a warm, paper-like neutral rather than a stark optic white, which lets the card motif sit on the chest with the flat, inked quality of a screen print pulled by hand.
