Protective Hardboard and Cork BaseAll Pimpernel placemats have been made from the highest quality eucalyptus wood and cork farmed from the environmentally managed forests.
Care InstructionsDo not immerse your Pimpernel placemats in water or place in the dishwasher. Do not use with very hot dishes taken straight from the oven. Although the surface of these Pimpernel placemats is heat resistant to 110C (230F), they are not heat proof. For all practical purposes do not use with plates or dishes that are too hot to hold. Extra care should always be taken with French polished tables which are particularly sensitive to heat.
