RARE 1957 / 1958 Supro Belmont (National Valco) Guitar DeArmond Gold Foil +Case For Sale

This listing is for a, super rare, 1957 or 1958 Supro Belmont an airline blue. This model has a neck pick up only with a fixed tailpiece and adjustable rosewood bridge. The Guitar is outfitted with a DeArmond gold foil pick up. The electronics in the Guitar work and the pick up sounds fantastic with a great output. There is a bit of scratchiness in the volume and tone pots but that is the only issue. Original tuning keys work very well and the guitar has just been restrung with 9.5 gauge strings. The neck is straight and the Frets have life left. Please look at all pictures. The guitar does show a lot of general wear. The finish has worn off of the outer edges quite a bit almost giving the Guitar a binding effect. At some point in its history, someone got adventurous and painted the tailpiece and the control knobs metallic blue. Much of that has worn off. The guitar comes with its original alligator case in usable condition. Again, please see all pictures. Overall, this is a nice example. It is clearly not mint and our price reflects that.
