All of the threads are in Excellent shape spindle, pedal, boss threads and end bolt threads are good W/ no issues.
Both Original Profile Racing Bottom Bracket bearings( these are the best bearings Profile had with their crank sets in early 90’s. These actually say “Profile Racing” on them these are much smoother and have a much longer life span than the RC 80 China brand you get today. You can’t buy These Profile Racing bottom brackets anymore.
Because you will have to buy the left crank arm I am including the Profile sprocket to offset the cost of the replacement arm. It’s a 44t sprocket. These sell for $45-$55 regularly on .If you already have an extra 180mm crank arm then you are set.
A single chrome Profile crank arm in decent used condition typically sells between $40-$60ish. Condition dependent obviously but just want to help give you an idea of what to expect. If you had to pay a little more for a nicer one I would because this one has a nice finish overall and that would make a great set but totally up to the buyer.
If you don’t have the removal tool you can easily use a 12mm or 13mm long socket and a rubber mallet or hammer to push the spindle out of the crank arm. 12mm will fit perfectly on the spindle end with end bolt removed and a couple solid bangs will push it right from the crank arms. This can be done to remove both arms. (SEE LAST TWO PICTURES FOR EXAMPLE of this procedure)Always use anti seize lube when installing crank arms because this makes sure they come apart easily down the road. Keeps them from binding or rusting to the spindle.
