A Pisgah Forest pink mini cream and sugar set, 2.25 inches high by 2 inches wide, dated 1936, North Carolina pottery. Miniature Pisgah is a whole collecting lane of its own, and a matched mini cream and sugar in the pink glaze is a satisfying find at a fraction of what full size Pisgah asks.

The pink is Pisgah Forest\'s soft rose, the glaze Walter B. Stephen\'s western North Carolina pottery used constantly alongside the cameo blue. At this scale the throwing and finishing work is genuinely impressive: little forms are harder to get right than large ones.

There is a chip, noted plainly in the original description and reflected in the price. Please read the condition line and look hard at the photos.
