• Network changes can affect operation: The PiHole works by being registered as the DNS server on your network. If your router is replaced, reset to factory settings, or your ISP changes your network configuration, the PiHole may stop filtering until the DNS setting is re-applied. This is a straightforward one-time re-configuration, not a hardware failure.
• Some legitimate sites or services may be affected: The PiHole is a DNS-level blocker. Certain legitimate websites, streaming services, or apps that rely on tracking or telemetry may experience issues — such as features not loading or content behaving unexpectedly.
