The 1/4" OD. tube adapter/stub end can be inserted into tube fitting body such as a Union, Elbow, Tee, Cross or even a Valve and provides 7,000 psig allowable working pressure at -20° to 100°F by being machined to 0.040 inch seamless tube wall with fully annealed 316 stainless steel forgings per ASTM A-182/ASME SA-182 and bar stock material standards per ASTM A-276/ASME SA-479.
This fitting is interchangeable with other major manufactures of the dual ferrule system such as Swagelok, Parker A-Lok, Hoke Gyrolok, Bi-Lok, Brennan, DK-Lok, Ham-Let, HY-Lok, SSP, Superlok, and Tylok. It is even interchangeable with single ferrule fittings such as Parker CPI, Tylok CS-Lok, SSP Unilok, and Ham-Let One-Lok.
Tube adapters are recommended where space is a premium. Other features include:
- Eliminates alignment problems when installing pipe elbows or tees.
- Reduce inventory. The need for stocking special elbows and tees is not required.
- Effects a union at every joint to allow for complete assembly, disassembly and reassembly.
- No more "deburring" and cutting short lengths of tubing.
