Puiforcat was established in France in 1820 and spent over 100 years specializing in quality sterling silver. In 1940, they began to expand their wares and offered fine quality porcelain made in the Limoges region.
This dessert/bread & butter plate is based on an antique Chinese porcelain pattern from the 1700’s. The Tung Hai pattern has been discontinued by Puiforcat and is becoming more difficult to find every year. The plate measure 6.5 inches wide by 7/8 of an inch thick and is in excellent condition.
