PS: PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE MONTHLY ~ 2002-03 ~ Joe Kubert artwork on cover and 8 inside pages. Each issue 5\" x 7\", staple bound, 64 pages. 2002 issues in the lot are: 590, 594, and 598. The 2003 issues are 604 and 613. Kubert did the covers for all 5. He also did the full-color 8-page comic strip on pages 27 to 34 in 2 issues and probably in 2 other issues that are not signed. Issue 590 does not have an inside comic strip. All 5 issues are BRAND NEW (9.5) condition, stored carefully, no creases and wrinkles, covers perfect, no marks or writing, and no address label. Joseph Kubert (1926-2012) was a Polish-born American comic book artist, art teacher, and founder of The Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in Dover, New Jersey. He is best known for his work on the DC Comics characters Sgt. Rock and Hawkman as well as his covers and strips in the U.S. Army\'s PS Preventive Maintenance Monthly. I have virtually all of the issues of PS from 1954 (#13) to 1996 (#529) as well as some later ones. As publisher of Military Vehicles Magazine, I was able to get most of them in Brand New condition. I also have complete collections of Military Vehicles, Army Motors, and Classic Military Vehicles from #1 to the early 2000s.
