Ottertex® Nylon Ripstop fabric is a lightweight, crisp, and durable material made from 70-denier, 100% nylon fibers. It is woven in a plain weave style with a smooth yet firm texture and features reinforcement every 1/8 inch to help resist ripping and tearing. This fabric is coated with a PFAS-free durable water repellent (DWR) and polyurethane (PU) finish, providing waterproof protection under high pressure and improved abrasion resistance. It is also tested to 160,000 double rubs (ASTM 4966) for high-traffic and everyday use. Measuring approximately 60/61 inches wide, the fabric weighs about 3.6 ounces per linear yard, has a weight of 70 GSM, and is 0.15 millimeters thick.
