Original Imperial German 1870–1871 Franco-Prussian War commemorative medal. Features the “1870–1871” design on the front and King Wilhelm I’s crowned monogram with the motto “Dem siegreichen Heere” on the reverse. The edge is inscribed “Aus Erobertem Geschütz” (“From Captured Cannon”).
The medal shows honest age and wear consistent with its age. The ribbon appears to be a replacement. Please review all photos carefully for condition and details.
