Sweet artisan OOAK #1 / 1 blonde mohair teddy bear handmade by artist Jacquelyn (Jackie) Melerski of Gilmur Rudley Bears. She has pretty blonde mohair - her head and body is slightly darker than her limbs to give contrast and interest to the bear. She comes with a big bow and a daisy necklace. On her artist provenance card, it says her name is "Daisy Sue", dated 2006 (part of the 15th Anniversary of Gilmur Rudley Bears) and that she is an only bear made #1 out of 1 - One of a Kind. Daisy Sue also has the fabric back label identifying the artist. She is about 11" long, heavy and highly weighted, and fully jointed. Very nice bear from a well-respected bear artist. She came from an extensive artisan bear collection out of a Washington DC estate.Buy with confidence - check my response!

Provenance:Bears came from a local Washington DC estate of an avid artist bear collector. She obtained her bears by attending the artist teddy bear shows and fairs that were once common during the 1980's and 1990's. She purchased most directly from the artists. She displayed her bears so some dust may be present. There were no signs of the owner being a smoker or animals in the house.
Shipping: I take extra care in packaging my items. Please check my response for customer packing satisfaction. I usually ship USPS Ground Advantage Mail. For some oversized items, they will ship via UPS or FedEX Ground.USPS sometimes takes a while and has been having shipping delays, so please be patient if your item gets hung up in one of their distribution centers for a while.
