This book features two acting legends, Academy Award winners, and SISTERS back in high school. Olivia de Havilland appears as a junior and Joan Fontaine appears as a sophomore. Olivia appears in one group shot and also wrote an original poem that was published in the book. Joan appears in a small candid shot (see attached scans).
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:This book is in good condition for its 90+ years. The main flaw is that there is some moisture damage about 1” down along the top edge, starting at the inside rear cover (most) to about halfway through the book (least). This has caused the red ink on the rear facing page to bleed onto the preceding page. pp. 72-73 and pp.76-77 show some slight paper loss; pp.70-71 has just a touch of paper loss. There is also a similar stain from the red front facing page on the following page, but there is no sign of any further intrusion at the front of the book. This does NOT affect any of Olivia’s or Joan’s images or text in the book. There is a large crease on the bottom corner of the front cover. The spine and corners show wear. The long edges of the covers also show some wear. Other than the aforementioned issues, the page block is in good shape with writings and signatures mostly confined to the endpages.
