This is a substantial, high-quality traditional Oriental/Persian-inspired rug featuring a rich black field, ivory and neutral border, elaborate floral motifs and a large center medallion.
Nourison describes the Expo 2100 Collection as wool carpeting with touches of pure silk, designed to recreate the appearance and detail of a fine 200-line hand-knotted carpet. These rugs are hand tufted.
