You are offerding onarare Genuine Ford NOS MG-9735-A Gas Pedal Assy, which the book says fits 1956-1958 Mercury cars including Phaeton, Turnpike Cruiser and Monterey models, including Coupe and Convertible models. See the 7th-9th photos of the Mercury Master Parts Catalogs showing these applications. The text says it fits 56-58 automatic and standard cars, but the pictures shown 57-58 , so any 56 buyers need to verify visual application. Part has never been mounted-see mounting holes. See Ford oval and part number on back, Beware of others selling this part number. Ford stamped "sell as MG-9735-A" on the back of similar fitment pedals which are the same size but don't have the the correct "rubber pattern" shown in the pictures. Thanks for looking.
