HASTELLOY® B is a historical nickel-molybdenum alloy designation associated with the HASTELLOY Bfamily of corrosion-resistant specialty alloys. However, no surviving Haynes heat record orMaterial Test Report has been located for this specific spool.
Haynes International was contacted regarding heat 2620-9-0319. After furtherinvestigation, Haynes advised that they were unable to locate the requested historical documentsin their system.
The material is therefore being sold according to the original supplier identificationand surviving packaging shown in the photographs, rather than as independently verifiedor currently certified HASTELLOY B material.
Exact modern UNS designation, chemical composition, temper, mechanical properties, manufacturingsource, and current certification status are unverified.
