The LEVIATHAN SPACE MARINES – The Shield of the Fourth Tyrannic War:
Forged in the crucible of Segmentum Pacificus, this Leviathan strike force is the Imperium incarnate: adamantine will given form. At its heart marches a Captain in Terminator Armour, 50mm of ancient ceramite and unbreakable command, his storm bolter roaring oaths of retribution while his power fist shatters xenos carapace like glass. Beside him, a Librarian in Terminator Armour wields the raw fury of the Warp as a scalpel, turning psychic might into battlefield control with Smite, Veil of Time, and Psychic Fortress to blunt alien talons before they strike.
The tip of the spear is a squad of five Terminators, each a walking bastion of 2+ saves and relentless storm bolters, teleporting onto objectives with the Teleport Homer to seize ground the enemy thought secure. They are the immovable object. The unstoppable force is the Ballistus Dreadnought, 90mm of guided fury, its lascannon and missile launcher erasing monstrous creatures from three tables away while anchoring your backline.
Speed and precision come from the Apothecary Biologis and his surgical knowledge of xenos physiology, granting re-rolls to wound against the swarm while dragging the fallen back into the fight. The Lieutenant with Combi-weapon stalks the flanks in Phobos plate, an assassin and lynchpin, giving Lethal Hits to units within his aura to make every bolter round count. The Sternguard Veterans bring 32mm of veteran hate, their special issue bolters switching between anti-infantry Dragonfire and anti-armor Kraken rounds to delete key threats. And then the flame: ten Infernus Marines advance like a conflagration made flesh, their pyreblasters bathing the board in Torrent and Ignores Cover, turning chitinous hordes into ash before they can touch you.
On the table, this is an elite, durable hammer. Strategy: Use the Terminator core to teleport and bully the mid-board by turn 2. Let the Dreadnought and Sternguard erase big bugs and synapse. Use Infernus Marines to screen and overwatch-charge lanes into molten slag. Every unit hits hard, refuses to die, and benefits from Oath of Moment to pick one enemy unit per turn and re-roll everything against it. This is how the Imperium endures: not with numbers, but with it ARMOURED militant angels.
