N.E. From – Danish Modernist Sterling Silver Ring with Tiger\'s Eye
An original vintage ring by Niels Erik From of Nakskov, Denmark – one of the great names of 20th-century Danish silver. A broad, flat shank rises into a plain bezel that holds a large oval tiger\'s eye cabochon with almost nothing else to distract from it. Pure Scandinavian modernism: the form does all the work.
The stone shifts with the light from warm honey gold to deep brown-black, with the characteristic chatoyant banding.

Condition: Good vintage condition, worn. Silver with a light natural patina and fine surface wear. The cabochon shows fine surface scratches – normal for tiger\'s eye after decades of wear, barely visible in normal light but noticeable under direct light (please see photos). Stone firmly set, shank true and undistorted, marks crisp and fully legible. Not polished – left as found so the buyer can decide.
