Musico Limited Edition 1 /125 Etching Signed Jorge Dumas Uruguay, 1928-1985
Jorge Dumas (1928-1985) was born in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1928. His first visit to the United States in 1959 was to collaborate with Carlos Páez Vilaró in the design and execution of the mural for the Pan American Union Building in Washington D.C. In 1972, Dumas moved to Florence, Italy. During this time, he traveled through France, Germany, Belgium, Holland & Switzerland. In 1975, Dumas returned to New York to print lithographs for circle fine arts. In 1979 he opened his own atelier in New York, where he printed his own work as well as those of Peter Max, Agam, Romare Bearden, Dali, Erte, Peter Hurd, Ting, Karel Appel, Corneille, Vasarely, Omar Rayo, Sznajderman, Alpuy, Bonevardi, Sanin, etc.Jorge Dumas\' works have been exhibited throughout the United States and South America.
